my-AWESOME-CV
Browser-based CV and cover letter builder with recruiter-crafted templates, free PDF export at 0€ and optional paid expert reviews.
If you need a presentable CV exported as a PDF this afternoon and you don't want to learn a design tool, my-AWESOME-CV does the job on its 0€ tier — all templates, premium design fonts, unlimited downloads and no watermark — and the LinkedIn/Xing import at about 10 seconds is quicker than rebuilding a history by hand. The 29€ CV review and 49€ application review are one-off purchases, so there's no subscription hanging over you. The honest trade-off: these are recruiter-crafted preset templates, not a blank canvas, so Canva or Figma give you more layout freedom, and the vendor makes no ATS-parsing claims — if your target employers screen automatically, verify parsing before you send.

Skip my-AWESOME-CV if you need drag-and-drop layout freedom, an ATS-optimized plain resume, or a team workspace where several people edit one document.
The 29€ CV review and 49€ application review are one-off purchases, not subscriptions, but they cover a single document pass — a rewrite after feedback means paying again.
The 0€ tier covers templates, premium fonts, color customization, unlimited downloads and no watermark, which undercuts subscription builders like Zety or Resume.io that charge monthly for comparable export features. The only paid items are one-off reviews at 29€ (CV) and 49€ (application) — cheaper than a few months of a typical resume subscription if you only need one application reviewed.

my-AWESOME-CV — Browser-based CV and cover letter builder with recruiter-crafted templates, free PDF export at 0€ and optional paid expert reviews. Best for Job seekers who need a professional CV quickly, Recent graduates writing a first resume, Career changers who want a modern template. Free to start; paid plans from €29.
my-AWESOME-CV is a browser-based resume and cover letter builder aimed at job seekers who want a clean, modern application without design software. You pick from templates the vendor says were built in collaboration with recruiters, then adjust fonts, colors and layout through a color palette, and preview the result live before you export. The import feature pulls your work history from a LinkedIn or Xing profile in roughly 10 seconds, which is the fastest part of the setup. Cover letters and additional attachments can be built alongside the CV, and the whole package downloads as a high-resolution PDF. The core plan is listed at 0€ and the vendor states it is free forever with no hidden fees: all templates and premium design fonts, color customization, unlimited downloads and edits, and no watermark on any template. Optional one-off human reviews are 29€ for a CV and 49€ for a full application (CV plus cover letter), covering content, spelling and grammar, textual and visual structure, and overall appearance. New users get all premium functions free for 7 days. Best fit is a graduate, career changer or anyone applying under time pressure who wants a good-looking PDF today; it is not aimed at teams, and customization stays inside preset templates rather than a free-form layout engine.

Limitations
- The editor runs in the browser, so you need an internet connection to build or edit your application.
- Customization runs through preset templates plus selectable fonts, colors and layout options rather than free-form layout control, so highly non-standard formats are out of reach.
- The vendor's materials emphasize visual design and make no ATS-parsing claims, so verify compatibility with automated screening systems separately if that matters for your target roles.
- New users get all premium functions free for 7 days; after that the paid options are the one-off expert reviews at 29€ for a CV and 49€ for a whole application.
- The product is single-user with no collaborative editing.

How long it actually takes to get something useful out of my-AWESOME-CV — broken out by persona, not the marketing-page minute.

Switching to or from my-AWESOME-CV
How to bring data in from common predecessors and how to get it back out — written for the switcher, not the buyer.
- →From a Word or Pages CV template: retype or paste your history into a template, or import from LinkedIn/Xing if your profile is current, then export as PDF.
- →From Canva: rebuild inside a recruiter-crafted template rather than porting a custom layout, since the editor works with presets, fonts and colors.
- →From LinkedIn's own PDF export: import your profile in about 10 seconds, then restyle it in a template for a designed rather than auto-generated look.
- ↗To Canva or Figma: export your content as PDF, then rebuild for free-form layout control if you need a non-standard design.
- ↗To Zety or Resume.io: recreate the document there if you specifically need ATS-oriented formatting and parsing checks.
- ↗To Word or Google Docs: download the PDF and retype or paste content into a plain document if you need an editable text master.
