Most routing software stops at optimization — it hands you a sequence of stops and leaves the exception handling to your dispatchers. SimpliRoute's pitch is that its ADA agents close that loop. On the vendor's own description, ADA detects patterns that fall outside the norm, identifies the irregularity, determines the tasks needed to resolve it, and executes them. The concrete example is the delivery retry: ADA contacts the customer proactively, collects the missing data, manages the rescheduling or reattempt, and decides whether the case needs to be escalated to a person. That is a materially different capability from a static route plan, and it is the part worth testing in a pilot. The second differentiator is ForceField. Territory and sales-route optimization is a different problem from last-mile delivery — it is about distributing call points across reps by volume and capacity — and most routing tools simply do not address it. If you run both delivery and field sales, one platform covering both is a real consolidation argument. The operational layer is solid and conventional: live delivery monitoring with customizable proof-of-delivery forms, predictive safety alerts from GPS and telemetry, fleet management spanning vehicles, drivers, carrier payments and documentation, and dashboards with KPIs on routes, deliveries, and compliance. Conversational AI handles customer queries and delivery notifications, which reduces manual outreach. The honest caveats: the vendor markets primarily in Spanish to Latin American operations, so if your team is not Spanish-speaking or your fleet sits outside the region, expect to spend real time on onboarding and support logistics. Integration depth beyond the named ERP and e-commerce connectors is not documented in what we could reach, so treat compatibility as something to verify with the vendor rather than assume. And because buyer-facing detail on things like API limits and data residency was not available to us this run, those should be your explicit questions in the sales process. Where it fits: mid-size to large fleets with genuinely complex multi-stop routes and a real exception-handling burden — the kind of operation where a missed delivery or a repeated failed attempt costs money every day. Where it does not: a small operation with a handful of vehicles that just needs a cheap point-to-point route planner, or a team that wants to configure everything from a self-serve screen without a vendor conversation.
