Trade Ideas earns its price on one thing: it streams. Alerts fire on every trade rather than the candle close, and Top Lists re-rank the market by your filters every 15 seconds. If your edge depends on catching a move before the crowd, that latency difference is the product. The site claims 308 stock alerts and 249 screener filters across 500+ data points, so the scan depth is genuinely there rather than marketed. The AI layer is the differentiator, with a caveat on how it's sold. Holly AI is the flagship: buy signals on big movers, each with a stop set before you trade (usually about 3% from entry), and a re-entry point if a name stops out and turns back. That structure — risk defined up front — is more honest than a bare signal feed. But Holly, 1st Gen AI Signals, OddsMaker backtesting, Smart Risk Levels, auto trading and Stock Races all sit behind TI Premium at $178/mo billed annually ($2,136/year) or $254/mo month-to-month. TI Standard at $89/mo billed annually ($1,068/year) or $127/mo monthly gives you the scanner, 10 charts, paper trading and TI Wave, but not the AI that most people come for. Budget for Premium or don't bother. Money Machine is the headline and the biggest commitment: $5,000 for exclusive access, long the top three momentum stocks at $5K per position, upside/downside/both selectable. Wave 2 is the material update — it moved the 2nd Generation AI out of simulation and into real-market automated trading. That's real automation, not a paper strategy, and it's not included in any subscription. Where it falls down: the core is Windows-native (Mac users run it through Parallels), so it isn't the modern web-first terminal competitors ship. There is a Web Dashboard for the scanner and Top Lists, which softens that, but the deep charting and multi-window workflows live in TI Pro. Order entry and auto trading only work through TradeStation, Brokerage Plus, CenterPoint Securities or Cobra Trading — if your broker isn't on that list, you're using Trade Ideas for signals and executing elsewhere. The interface is dense and assumes you already understand momentum and short-term risk; beginners will be lost. And the vendor says plainly that it's a publisher and nothing it shows is a recommendation, which is the right disclaimer but also a reminder that the stops and signals are starting points, not guarantees — gaps can blow through a 3% stop. Where it fits: active US momentum traders already on a supported broker who want scanner, signals and optional automation in one place. Where it doesn't: buy-and-hold investors, budget-conscious traders, Mac-only users who won't touch Parallels, and anyone who needs charting depth comparable to TradingView or TrendSpider — Trade Ideas loses that comparison on price and on charts.
