AI Visibility Report
AI visibility tracking for your tool, $49 a month: twice a week we ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity the questions your buyers actually type, and tell you whether they named you — who they recommended instead, and whether you are gaining or slipping. Cancel any time. The report observes what the engines say; it never changes anything about how your tool is listed here.
The question this answers
The thing that keeps an AI-tool founder up in 2026 is no longer whether they rank on Google. It is this: when a buyer asks an assistant for the best tools in my category, is my name in the answer, or is my competitor's?
It is a hard question to answer alone. One person asking ChatGPT once gets one sample, on one day, phrased one way — and the answer varies by phrasing more than most founders expect. What you need is the same battery of questions asked repeatedly over time, and that is tedious enough that nobody does it by hand for long.
What we ask
Ten questions per cycle, built from your tool's category, phrased the way a buyer would phrase them rather than the way a marketer would. The templates include:
- What are the best {category} tools in 2026?
- Which {category} tool would you recommend, and why?
- What are the top alternatives to consider for {category}?
- Which {category} tools are best for a small startup team on a budget?
- What is the best value-for-money {category} tool right now?
Each goes to Gemini, Perplexity and ChatGPT with web search enabled, twice a week. We record whether your tool was named, where it appeared relative to the others, which competitors were named instead, and which sources the engine leaned on.
What arrives in your inbox
- Per engine. Named or not, at what position, and how that moved since the last report.
- Who is recommended instead. The competitors the engines actually name in your category — usually the most uncomfortable and most useful section.
- Your listing here. Views, outbound clicks, saves, and how often our stack planner recommended you. Bot-filtered, seven-day window, shown in context rather than dressed up.
- What we re-verified. The specific fields our pipelines changed on your listing this week — proof the data behind you is alive.
- Sentiment pulse. What people are saying, when there is enough signal to say anything honest.
Why this costs less than it looks
Tools that monitor brand visibility in AI answers generally start around $99/month for a single engine, and the ones aimed at enterprises run into the hundreds. This is cheaper for an unglamorous reason: we are already running this machinery for our own catalogue, so pointing it at one more tool is close to free for us, and we would rather price it where an indie founder can say yes without a meeting.
There is also something here the general-purpose trackers structurally cannot offer. They watch a brand. We watch a product we already maintain data about— which means we know your category, we can derive your real competitor set without asking you to type one in, and we can show you what changed on your listing alongside what changed in the answers.
What it will never do
Subscribing does not move you up anything. Not our rankings, not our scores, not our recommendations, not a “best of” list. The report tells you what the AI engines are saying and suggests what you could change about your own presence — better docs, coverage on the sources those engines trust, an answer to that Reddit thread. It never promises that our behaviour will change, because it will not.
“Paid and free are treated identically in all rankings and recommendations.”
