The ChatGPT app carries the same idea into long conversations. Weaknesses are three. First, the credit model is non-accumulative and monthly, and consumption depends on model and word count, so predicting your bill takes attention — the Free tier's 30 one-time credits are a demo, not a plan, and the heavier models live on Pro. Second, Mapify favors speed over granular control: if you want to hand-place nodes, style branches, or manage a canvas like Xmind, this is the wrong tool. Third, real-time collaborative editing isn't the product's focus. Where it fits: individual learners, researchers, and knowledge workers processing format-diverse material alone. Where it doesn't: teams co-editing maps in real time, or anyone who needs offline access.
