That said, Degla is not for everyone. It's clearly designed for field operations with clear spatial objectives—search patterns, area coverage, survivor location. If your use case requires precise teleoperation, indoor flight, or high maneuverability, you'll want traditional ground control software. The contact-only pricing and early access status mean it's not yet a plug-and-play solution; you'll need to work directly with the Degla team. Compared to drone OEM software like DJI Pilot or open-source mission planners (e.g., QGroundControl), Degla offers higher abstraction but less granular control. We'd recommend it for public safety agencies and infrastructure inspection firms that regularly conduct multi-drone surveys—and can afford the onboarding.
