Kortex

Kortex is a digital workspace designed to unify note-taking, content creation, and knowledge management into a single, streamlined workflow. It caters to minimalist writers, creators, and note-takers who want to capture ideas quickly and write without distraction. The tool features an AI assistant called kAI that can summarize, advise, research, or create study plans from various sources like YouTube videos and highlights. Its interconnected writing system helps users overcome writer's block by surfacing relevant ideas from their notes, captures, and highlights in real time. Kortex offers a simple capture-and-create workflow: users capture ideas to specific notes, then use kAI to synthesize them into polished documents. The text editor is optimized for smooth writing, with a pane navigation system for referencing documents, highlights, and captures simultaneously. Unique features like Kortex Elements provide templates and outlines to guide writing, while advanced search lets users find ideas by tags, related words, document contents, captures, and highlights. Kortex also supports export as markdown, document sharing, collaboration across workspaces, and integration with Readwise for importing external highlights. The tool is available on web and desktop apps, with offline mode coming soon. Currently, Kortex is transitioning to a new product called Eden, which will offer spatial AI and auto-tagging.
