MaxKB

MaxKB (Max Knowledge Brain) is an open-source enterprise-grade agent platform designed to lower the barrier to AI adoption. It enables organizations to quickly integrate major large language models, build custom knowledge bases with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and automate complex business processes through a visual workflow engine. The platform supports both simple and advanced agent creation, with built-in tools, MCP tool calling, and function libraries. Targeted at enterprises and institutions, MaxKB offers a progressive upgrade path from basic Q&A (RAG) to workflow automation and full agent capabilities. It is used in industries like finance, healthcare, education, transportation, and government—examples include中信建投证券, 中国农业大学, 华南医院, and 深圳地铁. Key features include zero-code embedding into third-party systems, support for local private models (Llama 3, Qwen 2) and public APIs (DeepSeek, OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.), document ingestion with automatic chunking and vectorization, and a flexible workflow editor. The platform is built for both technical and non-technical users, with a focus on rapid deployment and iterative improvement. MaxKB is developed by Fit2Cloud (飞致云) and is available as a free open-source product. It has gained over 1,000 daily installs since launch. The project is actively maintained with frequent updates.
