Pollinate is aimed at a specific, growing problem: feeding AI agents with the data they actually need, not just shipping logs to a dashboard. The pitch is sharp—software is commoditized, data is the bottleneck—and the platform's focus on agent-native routing is a differentiator. If you're building AI agents for supply chain, operations, or similar signal-heavy domains, Pollinate's managed collection and routing could save you weeks of custom ingestion work. The open-source npm SDK (khotan-data) is a low-risk way to test the waters; you can instrument your stack in minutes and see if the routing logic holds up. The SSH interface is a nice touch for developers who want direct, terminal-based access. But Pollinate is early-stage. There's no public pricing, no documented integration catalog, and no production case studies yet. That's a real gap for enterprise buyers who need SLAs and vendor stability. The YC W26 backing adds some credibility, but it's not the same as a referenceable deployment at scale. Where it bites: if you're on a small team without dedicated data engineering, the developer-first approach will feel like friction. There's no no-code or UI to speak of—it's all SDKs and SSH. The closest alternatives are Fivetran or Airbyte, which offer broader connector ecosystems but aren't agent-native—you'd still have to build the routing and formatting yourself. Pollinate's bet is that agent consumption is fundamentally different from analytics, and that bet could pay off for early adopters. But unless you're comfortable with YC-stage risk and have the engineering muscle to debug middleware, I'd wait for more maturity. For a quick spike, the open-source SDK is free to try, which lowers the barrier to evaluating the core idea.
