All tiers run locally and support multi-hop reasoning, temporal reasoning, and personality profiles. The architecture is well-thought-out: six processing layers that handle personality profiling, semantic search, and contradiction detection. Benchmarks show it significantly outperforms Mem0 and Supermemory on LoCoMo accuracy and multi-hop reasoning. That said, TrueMemory is not a polished product for non-technical users. There's no web interface, no mobile app, no API for integrating into web services. It's designed to sit alongside your CLI tools and that's it. If you need shared memory across a team or across devices, you'll want a cloud solution like Mem0 or Supermemory despite higher costs. Comparing to Mem0: Mem0 offers a cloud API, web dashboard, and works with multiple frameworks, but costs per query and stores data on their servers. TrueMemory wins on privacy, price, and accuracy, but loses on convenience and multi-device sync. Real-world caveats: The Pro tier requires 4GB+ RAM and a Qwen3 model download (~1.2GB).
