Vidify solves a specific pain point: Shopify merchants who need product videos fast and cheap. The workflow is dead simple — upload an image, optionally tweak with a prompt, get a video in under two minutes. That’s genuinely useful for solo sellers who can’t afford a video editor. The free plan gives two videos per month, which is enough to test the waters. Paid plans are reasonable at $20 to $60 per month for 20 to 60 videos. Where it bites: Vidify only works with Shopify stores. If you’re on WooCommerce, BigCommerce, or selling on Etsy, you can’t use it. There’s no API, so you can’t integrate with your own workflow or bulk-generate hundreds of videos. The output is also limited — you get short product showcase clips, not cinematic trailers or complex edits. In practice, we’d reach for this when we need a quick Instagram Reel from a product photo, and we’re already on Shopify. But if you need multi-scene videos, custom branding beyond prompts, or cross-platform support, look at Canva’s video maker or CapCut. Vidify’s latest news mentions a real-time face swap and virtual try-on feature launched July 2026, but the vendor page still focuses on image-to-video only — so that feature may be in early beta or not yet integrated into the main workflow. Caveat emptor on that front. Ultimately, Vidify is a focused tool that does one thing well, but its narrow scope means many buyers will outgrow it.
