myMail box is best understood as a bundle rather than a best-in-class email client. The inbox does the expected things — unified multi-account view, threaded conversations, search across accounts, swipe gestures for archiving and deleting, push notifications instead of manual refresh, automatic configuration for the major providers, and IMAP/POP3 for anything else. Contact photos and custom signatures round out the basics. What separates it from a plain mail app is the note-taking layer from Mail.ru Notes, which sits in the same app: a neural network that generates ideas and social posts, highlights the main points of a note, and answers questions so you are not re-reading everything yourself. Autosave, cross-device sync, coloured backgrounds, labels and sharable notes make it usable as a genuine second brain on the phone, and the template library (SMART goals, a year-goal list with 35 ideas, a trip checklist, gift ideas) lowers the cost of starting. The honest weaknesses are structural. It is iOS-only — there is no desktop or web client, so anyone who works at a keyboard will keep a second tool. The feature set is personal-productivity shaped: no shared inboxes, no delegation, no routing or round-robin assignment, no admin or compliance controls. Notes and Cloud and Calendar are useful, but they are Mail.ru's ecosystem, not a neutral hub, so how comfortable you are with that ecosystem matters. The vendor describes the app as free; beyond that we could not verify plan structure or what, if anything, sits behind a purchase. Where it fits: a student or solo professional on iPhone who wants mail, calendar, files and notes in one place and is willing to trade advanced mail features for that convenience. Where it does not: support desks, sales teams with shared inboxes, anyone needing desktop access, and regulated environments with retention or audit requirements.
