We'd reach for Webmail when juggling four or more email accounts across different providers and wanting a single pane of glass with AI help. The smart composition and one-tap reply suggestions are genuinely time-saving — especially the tone selector that lets you flip between Professional, Casual, Concise, or Detailed without rewriting. Thread summaries are also well-implemented, cutting long chains to a few bullet points. Where it bites: there's no desktop app for offline-heavy workflows (you get macOS and Windows apps, but they're essentially wrappers for the web experience), and power users who live in Outlook or Thunderbird with extensive rules, templates, and add-ins will find Webmail too limited. Compared to Spark, Webmail offers roughly the same AI features but fewer integrations (no Notion, Todoist, etc.). The free tier is generous — no ads, no tracking — so it's easy to test. We'd skip it if you need an enterprise-grade admin console or compliance features like data retention policies. In practice, it's a solid between Spark and Newton: cheaper than Newton, more polished than most free clients.
