Compared to alternatives like Swimm or Scribe, Promptless is less about capturing step-by-step guides and more about maintaining reference docs. It's also cloud-only; no on-prem option. In practice, the tool is tuned for established teams with structured workflows—less so for chaotic or one-person operations.
