VibeAround solves a genuine pain point for developers who've accumulated multiple AI coding agents with different configs and terminals. Instead of juggling Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, and others separately, you get one workspace to launch, switch, and control them all. The API Bridge is a highlight—it lets you use any OpenAI-compatible provider across all agents without editing each one's config files. Remote control from messaging apps (Telegram, Slack, Discord) is surprisingly polished for a v0.7.x tool; you can hand over a session to your phone and continue via chat commands. The local-first design is reassuring for privacy-conscious users, as your code and credentials never leave your machine unless you explicitly enable tunnels. That said, VibeAround isn't for everyone. If you only use one agent and its native interface works fine, you don't need this. It also assumes you're comfortable with CLI tools and Node.js—there's a learning curve despite the desktop app. The remote control feature relies on your own tunnel (e.g., ngrok), which adds setup. Compared to cloud-based alternatives like Replit AI or GitHub Copilot Workspace, VibeAround gives you more control but less out-of-the-box collaboration. For teams that already use multiple agents and want a unified dashboard, it's worth a try. Just be prepared for early-stage quirks—the GitHub repo is active but small, and documentation is still skeletal in places.
