How we score →Delibr AI is a document-creation platform built specifically for product managers. It uses AI to help you draft, organize, and refine PRDs, roadmaps, and meeting notes. However, Delibr is shutting down on August 31, 2026, and all data will be permanently deleted after that date. The company cites insufficient traction as the reason. While the app remains fully functional until shutdown, new adopters should be aware of the limited lifespan. Key features include AI-assisted drafting, structured templates for product docs, commenting and version history, and team collaboration tools. Delibr also offers a Zapier integration and an API for custom exports. Data can be exported as JSON via the provided export tool. The current focus is on helping users migrate their content before the deadline. Delibr's core value is reducing the time PMs spend on document formatting and ensuring consistency across a team. It's a niche solution that competes with general-purpose writing tools like Notion or Confluence. However, given the shutdown announcement, its relevance is now limited to existing users who need to extract their data.
Delibr was a focused tool for product managers who hated wrestling with document formatting. It handled PRDs, specs, and roadmaps decently, and the AI-assisted drafting was a legitimate time-saver. But the shutdown changes everything. We'd only recommend Delibr if you need a temporary document solution for the next four months and plan to migrate out. For any longer-term use, it's a non-starter. The export tool works well — we tested it — and gives you a clean JSON with all your collections and comments. That's your escape hatch. Where Delibr falls short even before the shutdown: no mobile or desktop app, no live chat support, and limited integrations (only Zapier). It was never a full platform; it was a pricier, narrower alternative to Notion or Coda. Those tools offer more flexibility and aren't going away. In practice, if you're a PM who already uses Delibr, your best bet is to export everything now, then migrate to a tool like Notion, Coda, or Confluence. If you're a new user, absolutely do not start. The product has a clear expiry date, and the company isn't investing further. Even if the app works today, you'll be forced to migrate in four months. Bottom line: Delibr served a real need, but its time is up. Focus on migration, not adoption.
