Why people look for alternatives to Mexty
The complaints that come up most often in public discussion — reviews, forums and community threads. Not our opinion, and not the vendor's marketing.
- Multimedia flexibility and learner assessment depth remain open questions even for fans
- Branching is capped — hundreds of parallel paths are explicitly out of scope
- No independent reviews outside launch-day Product Hunt comments and a single Lemmy thread
- It is not a video production suite, so media-heavy courses need another tool

In fairness: users also consistently praise plain-language prompt-to-lesson flow turns a written description into an editable interactive course, and scorm and html export means courses drop straight into existing lmses like moodle. A complaint list is not a verdict — see the full picture on the Mexty page.
